Vice President

Jiny Jojo

Well… I really don’t know where to start from as it has been an interesting, challenging and a fruitful life. Let me begin with my educational qualifications. In Australia, I completed my Masters in Education and moved on to become a qualified Vocational Education Teacher; basically, a transition from teaching children to teaching adults.

In addition to doing a full-time job, I also assist my husband with the family business, play the role of a trouble shooter for my children, cook and the list continues (which is usual for many women). I deeply believe in spending quality time with my family and equally dedicate my full focus on my professional work. It’s my personal interest to discuss issues related to women and children. My future plans are to contribute fully to any cause related to education and women’s welfare and hence I am very enthusiastic to be associated with Powerful Empowered Women.

Treasurer

Sarita Verma

Sarita Verma is the Business Owner of An Element of Fun, which embraces good health and loving life in a healthy way, in partnering with the Number 1 Multi vitamin company in Australia by promoting platinum multivitamins for adults and children for optimal health. In addition Sarita is also:

  • Support Director for a BNI (Business Networking International) Chapter in the North West and Penrith region.
  • Volunteer Committee Member of Powerful Empowered Women
I am passionate about working with women and empowering them to believe in themselves.  Working on that limiting belief of “I Can’t” to “I Can”,  I believe I can contribute positively here.
  • Volunteer Member for Dr. Charlie Teo’s  Cure Brain Cancer Foundation with fund raising activities
  • Volunteer Member of an Animal Welfare League Australia, and support smaller animal charities via fund raising activities. Proud owner of 3 rescued staffies (I am a failed foster carer who ended up adopting all three in my care!)

After 39 years in the Corporate world, it is time to put my energy into constructive purposes and serving the community. Being on the Powerful Empowered Women Committee will allow me to positively contribute in the empowerment of Women.
